You are cordially invited to join all your bowling industry colleagues at International Bowl Expo 2009 (IBE 2009) as we return to Electrifying Las Vegas! As our 2009 theme states, “We Are On A Roll!” This past year has been filled with its share of opportunities, possibilities and challenges. We are excited about our new International Bowling Campus in Arlington, Texas, proud of bowling’s continual growth in popularity and worldwide exposure, hopeful of a new administration in Washington, D.C., and yet affected, both personally and in business, by the financial adversities created by our unstable economy these last several months. Because of the latter, you may be asking yourself: “Should I spend the time and financial resources required to attend International Bowl Expo this year?” Here’s my unbiased, honest answer: EVEN MORE SO! It’s even more important in these tight financial times that we come together to learn how to steer our businesses through this challenging period. Your attendance will improve your business, train your management staff, support our industry’s suppliers and manufacturers and simply make our industry stronger. Believe me, now is NOT the time to stay home and worry about the future. Now is the time to get out and turn these challenges into opportunities for success. Attendance at IBE 2009 can help us all accomplish that goal. International Bowl Expo 2009 will again be full of exciting events as we celebrate the fact that bowling is “on a roll.” As the bowl-ing industry’s premier event, International Bowl Expo continues to exceed expectations each year as it brings together thousands of bowling industry professionals all in one place. As my predecessors have done, I too encourage you to bring your key staff members to Bowl Expo for the training opportunities, idea sharing and exposure to all that is happening in the game and sport of bowling. Use Bowl Expo as an incentive or morale booster for your key staff. Bowl Expo is the ONLY PLACE you can find the latest trends, bowling-related products and services, marketing ideas, profit center opportunities, and tools to help you spread the excitement of bowling throughout your communities. Where else can you find all these educational sessions, networking events as well as the outstanding trade show showcasing the latest products and services from hundreds of manufacturing and supplier companies?
